About
Bridging
Technologies is a group of companies that was first registered in
1982 as Rafran. The success of the company attracted the attentions
of various investors and in 1997. The PQ Africa group bought a 70%
stake in what was by then the second largest computer cabling
company in South Africa. The company was subsequently renamed QDNC –
Q Data Networks Cabling.
By late 1999, the company’s vision was to expand
its’ skills and services in to the African continent with the
inclusion of Wireless and Vsat solutions to meet Africa’s ever
growing needs. This brought about a self initiated Management Buy
Out from the PQ Africa group, by the minority shareholders in
November 2000. The company
was suitably renamed – Bridging Technologies International, better
depicting the global communications solutions offered by the company
to meet clients ever changing requirements.
